Kids love doing things that involve being creative.

Which, is perfect when you have an upcoming holiday that you need to make a few ‘kid created gifts’ for.

Or, it’s a rainy day (like today in Central Florida) and you need a few ideas to keep the kiddos occupied.

We’ve got you covered with our list of 5 cute valentines day activities for kids of all ages.

TAKE A LOOK!

ONE:

Sometimes, a simple project is all you have time or energy for & this one
from The Resourceful Mama is perfect for that!

All you need is construction paper, scissors, glue & wiggly eyes (or, you can even substitute some black construction paper for the eyes).

TWO:

We LOVE crafts that include the kiddos foot prints or hand prints; as they make great gifts to give to Mom & Dad, Grandparents or Aunts/Uncles.

This activity from The Best Ideas for Kids is adorable & definitely kid-approved. (Also note: Kids will enjoy eating the conversation hearts while crafting. Thus, “kid-approved”. 😉 )

If you don’t have conversation hearts on hand, no worries! You can create these adorable hand or footprint masterpieces from The Keeper of the Cheerios.

FOUR:

We always say that kids are one snack away from a smile. At least, it typically works for our own little hangry tots.

Aren’t these “LOVEBOTS” from Crafty Morning the cutest?!

We made these last week for a party. They were so simple to create and a big hit with all of the kids.

FIVE:

These. Come on! How cute & practical are these?!

These Valentines Themed Tic Tac Toe Snack Crafts from The Sippy Cup Mom are absolutely everything!

They provide a snack & a game that could entertain for…well… as long as it takes for them to not eat it. 😉 Ha!

But, most importantly, this activity not only allows your kiddos to be creative, it teaches how to take turns, reading skills and counting skills. 100% kid and mama approved!
