Does the Mission Inn provide adequate space for families staying or for guests needing child care within their room?
Yes, of course!
We offer deluxe rooms, multiple bedroom suites and resort villas.
They all accommodate any size family perfectly!
All of our rooms have a screened in patio, king or double beds, in-room music & movies, internet and an in-room safe.

What are the best on-site activities for the children attending an event or staying for vacation?
Mission Inn Resort is a true family get-away. The resort offers a large
variety of recreational activities perfect for children of any age,
including the child at heart.
The main resort features a pool, hot tub, playground, shuffleboard, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, basketball, cornhole, table tennis, billiards, poker tables, a nature trail and a stocked fishing pond. Our clubhouse area of the resort offers two 18 hole golf courses, a putting green, a trap and skeet shooting range (perfect for the older kids), spa, additional tennis courts and a second playground.
The Marina del Rey at Mission Inn Resort offers pontoon boat rentals for a
family day on Lake Harris.
The best part is, the front desk has all necessary recreation equipment
available to loan at no additional charge, including not only balls and
racquets but also board games, bicycles and fishing equipment.
What do you wish couples knew about kids at weddings before they book your venue?
For guests visiting out of town, your wedding day is an investment for them
as well. For those guests with children it is often not possible to just
“leave them home”. Many couples choose not to have children at their
wedding, and that is totally understandable! Just make sure that you are
taking into consideration those guests that do have children and either
providing them the option of hosted child care throughout your ceremony or reception or providing them with information for a trusted care giver that they can hire on their own to come to the resort.
What is your best advice for making sure everyone (including kids) has a great time during an event at your venue?
Only you know your guests and the style of your big day. Do you want
children at the ceremony and reception, ceremony only or not present at all?
No matter what you decide, it’s okay! If children are going to be at the
reception, think about incorporating a kids table into your floor plan, that
includes fun, easy to clean up items like coloring pages, puzzles or board games.
Maybe even ask your venue if you can set up a small piece of dance floor
close to the kids table so that the kids can have their own private dance
party. Let’s face it, kids love to dance but so do adults. Why not give everyone a space to call their own.
If you aren’t including children, ask your venue what the options for childcare are, you might be surprised at what you hear!
